China-Ukraine relationships. New opportunities for Ukrainian startups

ExterneXXI has become a partner of the Sikorsky Challenge and was invited to take part in the meeting between representatives of the Sikorsky Challenge Innovation Ecosystem and representatives of Chinese innovation companies.
Firstly, what is it the Sikorsky Challenge?
Sikorsky Challenge is a comprehensive project that consists of seven main elements: Startup School, Business Incubator, Technology Development Bureau, Prototype Laboratory, Innovation Projects Festival, Intellectual Property Center and Innovation Holding.
What happened during the meeting?
As a result of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed on the participation of the 5 stratups, winners of the Sikorsky Challenge Startups Competition 2019, in the Final of Hangzhou Innovative Startups Competition.
The winners of the Hangzhou 2019 Competition will be provided with financial support from the Hangzhou government and offers from Chinese investors. In addition, they will receive prizes of different amounts:
→ 200 000 RMB for the best project
→ 100 000 RMB for 4 projects considered as 2nd place
→ 50 000 RMB for 7 projects considered as 3rd place
Is it still possible to participate in the Sikorsky Challenge Startups Competition?
Yes, if you have an innovative idea, it is the right moment for you to tell about it. The registration of startups is open till the 1st of September. The requirements for the projects are the next:
→ High level of innovation
→ Prepared business model
→ Prepared presentation in English
Requirements for the project representative:
→ Age does not exceed 55 years
→ Level of education is not lower than the master's degree
→ English proficiency

What is the role of ExterneXXI in this innovative ecosystem?
The innovative Ukrainian startups, noticed by Chinese investors, will locate their production facilities in China.
